Grace Reaches Down by Toni Elizabeth Sar'h Petrinovich

In an ever-growing desire to bring more light into a world that is actually composed of it, man has compromised itself by separating from the feelings that are inherent in a world of dualism and polarity. In so doing, the space for the use of grace is neglected and left untended. Due to this strategy, the human race has set itself upon the edge of denial - an edge that naturally leads to the integrity and authenticity of what feels real and is truly incorporated in experiencing life among each other.

It is no secret that a majority of the population of the United States lives on antidepressants in an effort to relieve itself of the natural feelings and emotions that arise during the course of a lifetime. The pharmaceutical industry thrives upon the politically correct supposition that a person is to feel at peace, joyful and creative constantly or something needs to be "fixed". In an effort to correct that which is not correctable through artificial means, newer and more potent drugs are constantly manufactured to assist in creating the illusion that all is well no matter what the environment or circumstances may say to the contrary.

Left to his or her own devices, a person will become intimately acquainted with the ups and downs of a lifetime experienced in a realm that is purposely created to teach by contrast. One is constantly exposed to different levels of understanding of that which is comfortable or not; happy or despairing; light or dark. Within this exposure lies the knowledge of the soul's growth, the application of newly acquired tools for living and a purposeful existence constantly acquiring new habit patterns and skills of mental/emotional activation.

Within this scope lies the gift of grace. Since there are varying degrees of living on the edge of the abyss, one may know that sooner or later the depths of the darkness will be plumbed and one may or may not have the courage and fortitude to bring oneself back into the lighter side of living. Each person has the ability to sink within the inner realms of Self, find the dark, shadow side of his or her nature and bring back from this adventure new understanding. Often, the nadir of this void may be so deep that another is asked to assist with this return and the grace that is granted to one who is of such assistance is great.

But what of the depths of despair that are so cavernous, so vast that there appears to be no way of return? What of the one who careens over the yawning edge of that abyss only to find that there is no way back or forward? What endowment can be bestowed on such a one?

This is the eternal and ever-present state of the divine gift of grace. In this moment, when one is so bereft of assistance that there is no hope that can arise, one fellow man or woman, loving unconditionally, can reach into that cavern. Taking hold of the despairing hand, he or she can raise up into remembering one who has forgotten the breath of

life. In that moment, both the giver and the receiver are blessed with the Divinity that is their inherent birth right and the grace of the Godhead spills over them with infinite love and surrender.

This is the reward of which man can avail itself living an integrous life allowing the storms, the waves, the winds of time to blow their learning. It is available to and possible for each person who wishes to truly live a fully activated life within the heart and soul that comprise the messengers within that life. Once connected with each other in this way, the bridge of longing begins to find fulfillment in and with the "other" and the sense of separation grows dim in the light of union.

This is the invitation that I extend to each of you as you travel the road you have chosen that you call your life. May you be blessed beyond belief, may you find the strength of purpose and depth of understanding that allows you to contribute to the Hologram with your love, your joy, your grief, your sadness, your peace. May you hold nothing back in the journey of your soul.
