The upper back is a common place to have a tattoo done. Custom made tattoo designs are now so common since many tattoo artists like to make designs which are specifically made for each client. The upper back tattoo can have a load of meaning or just be aesthetically appealing to the person which is why it is chosen. Upper back tattoo designs can also be large enough to occupy the entire upper back, shoulder to shoulder or just small enough to sit on the nape of the person. It may be easier to start with a small upper back tattoo if one is a first time to this form of body art.
