London is known as the city that never sleeps which makes it the perfect destination for anyone in search of an action packed weekend adventure. If the bright lights and fast paced city centre leaves you feeling a little frazzled then take a trip out to the quiet suburbs. Here there are some great parks and cosy pubs to relax in. Wimbledon, Richmond and Ealing are among the places that can provide a little sanctuary to the weary London visitor.

You can jump on a train from almost anywhere in the country and flights to London Heathrow are available from many local airports offering great transport links to the city centre so you can get started on your holiday as soon as your plane touches down. Numerous hotels and B and Bs are listed on the city’s tourist information sites making it easy and straight forward to find accommodation in you price range and with London boasting some of the best museums, galleries, restaurants and music you’ll never be short of something new to see on your weekend getaway.
