Cannon Photography Photo Contest
If you enjoy photography, you might enjoy entering the Cannon Photography contest. This is held for the first three weeks of April every year and offers you ca chance to participate in the Cannon workshop as well as view the Flower Fields of Carlsbad, which is where the event occurs. There is a small fee to join the contest and participate in the workshop of not more than $10.
KIFM Jazz Festival
San Diego, like most other cities, has a jazz festival. This is located in the downtown area and is sponsored by the Gaslamp Quarter Association. Jazz bands from all over come to play at this festival that takes place on the second to the last Saturday of May each year and takes place at the Gaslamp, but ends up spilling out into different clubs.
San Diego County Fair
The San Diego County Fair is held in June each year at the county fair grounds. If you have not been to a county fair, you will find that the San Diego County Fair is one of the bet places to start. There are traditional fair activities such as contests for pies and other foods as well as a carnival and lots of foods. There is also entertainment galore at the San Diego County Fair.
There is plenty to do when you visit San Diego that does not have to cost you or your family a lot of money so do come and visit!
