Google takes on Wikipedia articles in Google News
Google News, this month started using Wikipedia as a new source. Typically, it only news, but according to Google Wikipedia articles are a useful complement to these sources.
According to Google spokesperson Gabriel Stricker, the first company with a small group of Google News users experimented with the use of Wikipedia. Super Long news with info on the event etc. are a bit superfluous when linked to the Wikipedia article. The people themselves decide whether they want to know more about it or not
