I was like you so many years ago.Looking for a job I could truly love to do every day.So I looked towards different career paths I could take in the video game industry.
And to advance anywhere in that field you pretty much have to start out as a tester to learn all the necessary knowledge that goes with either designing a game or developing parts of one.
So I then proceeded to look for game tester job openings by performing searches on google. It led me all over the place and I eventually found a site that offered to train me and provide me with job offers from top video game companies as soon as i completed the course.
I weighed out the price of membership and the potential cost of going to college to be a game designer and the game tester career path seemed to be calling out because I joined the top company for training game testers which you can find on my website @ Game Tester Job Openings HQ
I never looked back and to this day I wouldn't do anything different if I had the choice, well except for maybe doing it sooner than I did.
When I landed my first game testing job I was 18 and started for $11 an hour with a small game developer.
I had the choice to work from home and they sent me a copy of the game for a system that I owned so i could play it and report any problems i found.I kept in contact with them through email and phone.I was skeptical at first and wondered if I would actually get paid.
Then as promised after submitting my report for the whole week by email they sent me a check for the hours i had documented and a bonus for completing all the required objectives.
I was so happy that I wish I could have seen the reaction on my own face.Since then i never had a problem getting a job with any developer I want to and I can juggle 2-3 projects at a time that make me at least $50 dollars an hour at the minimum.
Now whats keeping you from taking that step and signing up for your game tester training membership.
Is it lack of money, maybe you still don't believe it's possible, or do you think it will be hard?
This is way better than any job you could think of and it is pretty easy to do once you get the hang of it (that's what the training is for).
