Now Wii Fit was a good idea, but it really lacks some of the physical activity that you need in an exercise program and personally, I found it kind of boring. Now for those gamers that find themselves in need of some physical activity you must try EA Sports Active Wii. This game is reasonably priced and comes with two accessories, a resistance band with two handles and an adjustable leg strap with a pocket in it for the nunchuck. You use both of these accessories for all the activities in this game pack.
One of the nice things about this new game is that you can use the balance board and nunchuck from Wii fit with it. That is a cool investment because you don't have to buy new ones. You will make yourself an avatar (a representation of yourself) when you first start playing the game. This marks the beginning of the 30 day challenge. That aspect alone is enough to pull this far ahead of the Wii Fit.
Each day the game system will lay out a different set of workouts for you, another thing that makes this superior to the Wii Fit experience. It is more like your workout schedule is being geared to you and your specific goals, and is being designed to keep you active and fit without getting bored.
The fitness agenda they have for you everyday makes the game a very worthwhile purchase. That is exactly where Wii Fit didn't cut it and where EA Sports Active Wii totally makes it happen. This really gets you moving and you never know what is planned for you which makes it so fun. The anticipation and the challenge of it are great.
Don't worry you can still choose your level so you can gear it towards yourself and your fitness level. Unlike Wii fit however, you will really feel this workout. It will make you sweat, get your heart rate up and you will feel it in your muscles, letting you know that you are really getting a workout, while playing a game. Wii Fit was a great idea, but fell short when it came to actual physical activity, and with this game you will really get the workout and the gaming experience all in one. Well worth the buy.
