Here Comes Invest 97L

Is this the "Hell Storm"?

I am not talking about the intensity, nor the size, but of all things, the LOCATION! The little thunderstorm that just won't go away keeps huffing and puffing and it just might be one of the worst storms that the Gulf has seen. Say what?

Well, look at the trajectory will you!

Katrina and Rita did hellacious damage to buildings and man made structures while this little , "Yes I can, Yes, I can" tropical depression could send enough oil on shore and into the atmosphere to do major damage to NATURE, not man-made stuff. This tropical depression racing toward the Gulf of Mexico Thursday increased pressure on BP and the U.S. government to decide whether to evacuate dozens of ships at the site of the ruptured oil well.

The National HurricaneCenter in Miami said a cluster of thunderstorms in the Bahamas formed into a tropical depression Thursday morning. It could reach the spill site within two and a half days, said Lexion Avila, a senior hurricane specialist.

Could? Have you seen the various projections? It's almost like a straight line to- yep, you guessed it, New Orleans. Of course a lot could change between now and Sunday.

This little problem out there in the Gulf that's called a SPILL, is currently right in the way of 97L. Seas already were choppy in the Gulf, with waves up to five feet rocking boats as crews waited for orders on whether to leave. Nonessential vessels like barges and skimmers will likely be sent back to shore, Commander Terri Jordan told the crew of the Coast Guard cutter Decisive at a midmorning briefing.

My guess is, having looked at the circumstances of the last 90 days, that to bet against 97L being a major problem for the central Gulf Coast isn't something I'd do!
