The Importance of CPR and First Aid Training

Being ready for emergencies like stroke, cardiac arrest, choking, or heart attack can increase a victim's chances for survival if one has the knowledge and training for CPR and first aid. Knowing how to do CPR and initiate it at once increases the survival time of a victim until advanced medical help or EMS arrives.

The goal of CPR and first aid training is to educate people, not only about the skills required for saving a life, but also in prevention and safety that would greatly reduce risks of numerous preventable accidents. Heartsaver Aid Training
This course offers training in "basic first aid procedures" with the chance for training in AED and adult CPR. This course is for individuals assigned as first responders to medical emergencies in the community or workplace. The program includes the following modules: Children CPR; Infant CPR; Environmental: Adult CPR; Children and Adult CPR with AED.
