Flying Prices: How Much Can Flying Cost You

Dreaming to fly is easier than actually being able to do so because practically we are not supernatural beings who can actually suspend their bodies into the air. As a kid, the closest thing we can do to make our flying dream come true is to jump up and down the bed or run around the house with one arm fully stretched above our head and the other half-stretched imitating what flying action heroes and cartoon characters do with a blanket cape inserted in our back. When we grow older, fulfilling our dream to fly become even more difficult not only because we cannot do what we used to when we were kids but also the closest way that could realistically make us fly involves sky high or expensive flying prices.

Our definition of flying changes as we grow. Unlike as how we see it when we were young, flying is no longer being able to suspend our bodies to the air. Flying becomes more realistic in the form of being able to drive or ride an airplane. Although simple and achievable as it sounds, flying remains almost like an impossible dream as renting or buying an airplane can really cost one a lot of money.

So how much does it really cost? Flying prices depend on what kind of flying spree you want. People who dream to fly or soar up above the sky usually want to become pilot and drive their own plane. Some settle for being just plain airplane passengers traveling in some places while some take a more adventurous daredevil stunt of sky jumping, which is actually being able to suspend one's body in the air but only to a very limited time.

If you're budget-stricken, flying as a flight passenger serves the cheapest flying prices. Although risky, sky jumping has cheaper flying prices than plane piloting. However, sky jumping is not at all cheap. If you're a first-timer, you have to take a full sky diving course, which could cost you around $1,000 to $1,400. Once you've already mastered the art of sky jumping, you can reduce your flying prices to $150 to $300 depending on the number of jumps you want to have.

Piloting is the most expensive given the flying course you have to undergo, which could take a year or more plus the high flying prices of renting a plane, which could cost a minimum amount of $100 per hour depending on the kind of plane you fancy flying. Some prefer buying their own plane to save from exorbitant plane renting fees. But a plane can cost around $80,000 to $100,000 at the minimum depending again on the type of plane.

So there you go. On how far you want to take your flying dream come true depends on what your pocket can afford.
