Silverwood Theme Park
When the heat of the summer months just beats down on us we tend to think about soaking in a pool of cool waters. Now take this thought one step further and you have Silverwood theme park. At this amazing theme park in North Idaho you can find lots of water fun and rides in addition to many other rides that have been designed to keep your heart permanently in your mouth.
At silverwood theme park you will encounter Tremors. This is a 60 mile an hour underground wooden roller coaster ride that has your heart in your mouth and you are screaming for dear life as you drop down a 100 feet and then plunge headlong into tunnels that are in total darkness.
In addition to the Tremors roller coaster ride you can let yourself be scared silly on the Timber Terror which is the twisted cousin of Tremors in Silverwood theme park. Timber Terror is an aircoaster. This means that as you go on the ride there will be times when you are flying through the air.
Now the Corkscrew roller coaster ride is Silverwoods first ride. You get to ride in this roller coaster upside down twice in your heart stopping journey. Now for the ultimate in an adrenaline rush. You can take a ride up to the sky in the Droptower which is one of the newer rides in Silverwood theme park.
Once you are at the top your car ride will suddenly take rushing back down at 47 mph. Now just in case you think this is a tame ride the top of the tower is located 140 feet above the ground.
Besides these adventure rides you can slide down monster water slides or swirl around in gigantic wave pools at Boulder Beach which is also open to silverwood theme park visitors. In Boulder Beach there are some really great rides like the Bumper Boats. In these boats you can bump any one who is coming near you and you get to use a squirt gun on them. You are not the only people who get to use a squirt gun though.
In The Bumper Boats ride the people on the sides of the ride have the right to squirt the various passengers in the Bumper Boats as well. One of the more adventurous rides that can be experienced in Boulder Beach and silverwood theme park is going down the raging waters of Thunder canyon in a raft that holds its unsuspecting visitors.
