A 3.5mm Stereo to RCA Adaptor will let you connect your iPod to your car stereo head unit. It also works for many other headphone equipped devices, so you can use other portable music players in your car too. These only cost around $15 and are ideal if you have an older style car CD player or one without Ipod support.

This is an interesting air conditioning mounted tailor made Ipod holder for your car. There are models for regular Ipods, Nano and Ipod Mini. It is a rubber design so no damage will occur to the iPod or your car.
Just stick the iPoke on your air conditioning ventilation exit and you're done. Cost is around $10 on Ebay.
