Planning For The Christmas Tree
Christmas is right around the corner and now is the time to start thinking about the Christmas tree. You can choose an artificial tree or a real tree. You can think about homemade ornaments or ornaments from the store. You will also be thinking about tinsel or garland, what color lights and should they blink or be steady. There are so many things to think about when planning for your Christmas tree. If you have a small area for the Christmas tree, you might even consider a small tabletop tree. If you have climbing kittens, you might consider life size wall picture of a Christmas tree.
Real Trees
If you plan on a real tree for Christmas, you will want to wait until at least two weeks before Christmas as they do need lots of water and will become brittle and start dropping needles everywhere if they dry out too much. You need a tree stand to place the tree in and adding water is usually done daily. It depends how dry it is in your house. The one thing you do not want is a dry tree with lights on it. Real Christmas trees have the smell that many people love about a Christmas tree. Although they are messy, you can now buy tree bags that go around the bottom of tree under the tree skirt and you just raise it up over the tree after Christmas to prevent needles from getting everywhere.
Artificial Trees
Today, artificial trees come in different shapes styles and colors. You can buy a pine, evergreen or large needle or small needle Christmas tree. You might buy a chrome tree or an already decorated tree. You might even buy a tree with snow sprayed all over it or even a white Christmas tree. Artificial trees are endless and you never know which one you are going to buy until you see all the displays. Artificial Christmas trees are easier to put up and take down and you can buy a scent pine spray to give you that winter green pine smell.
Decorating takes the time and you can do anything you want to spruce up the tree. A Christmas tree is one that you will look at for the time before Christmas and feel all warm inside. It makes you feel like celebrating and what better time than Christmas with the family and friends. Christmas trees are always a fun family project to do.
