Using Binoculars with a Digital Camera: Taking Pictures of Your Favorite Birds
If you are one of those people who are fond of bird watching, you might want to consider getting binoculars with digital camera instead of buying separate binoculars and camera. The good thing about buying binoculars with a digital camera is that you do not have to carry two devices when going to the field.
Note that even a light weight camera or binocular could feel like 10 times its original weight after a while of walking and ducking in the bushes while bird watching. Bringing a number of gadgets during a bird watching expedition can hamper your movements. Besides, you cannot really expect to use separate binoculars and camera at the same and get good results.

The low resolution format will allow you to extend the memory of your camera.
Depending on the memory capacity of your card, you can take hundreds of pictures without really running out of memory space. However, if you want to take some really sharp pictures, it would be best to set your binoculars with a digital camera to high resolution format.
