What settings do you use in the dark versus light? What are the ideal conditions for using a flash? These are all extremely important to know before any real quality picture taking can begin because how the equipment works in concert with the surroundings is just as important as the subject you are shooting.
You may also want to throw in some words about choosing the proper setting and background. This is a digital photography lesson plan so the picture quality is going to be better than standard photographs so always make sure that the settings are as ideal as they can be to produce the best picture possible.
