EBay Cars: Finding A Great Deal On Used Autos
While years ago it may have seemed crazy to buy a car online, with today's research tools and search ability you can find great deals on eBay cars. This section of eBay now offers a comprehensive search and research section for finding out all the details of the make and model that you want. This article will take a look at the eBay cars section and give you some tips to find what you are looking for.
How To Use It
There are two main sections to eBay cars - the cars and trucks section and the parts and accessories section. This article will focus on the eBay cars and trucks section, so if you are interested in shopping for parts then this article is not for you.
The first thing you need to do is decide what make and or model you want to look at. It is best to have this information handy beforehand to simplify your search. While eBay cars can significantly help you to find the model you are looking for, determining what model you want is something you will have to do on your own. For my example I am going to walk you though finding a used 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
First on the drop down menu select Jeep from the make. After you do that the bottom section for model should now become selectable. Scroll down to Grand Cherokee and select that. Next in the bottom right you should see different year groups to choose from, click on 1999-2004. This will bring up another screen where you can select 2004 as the specific year.
After that you need to decide what options and features you want in your 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. For me it is most important that is has less than 100,000 miles so I will select that. This reveals 48 matches to choose from. That is quite a bit to choose from.
Personally I prefer the 6-cylinder model of this year's Jeep as it has better fuel economy and a very reliable AMC engine. So I scrolled down and clicked the Number of Cylinders link, which brought up 3 choices - 6 cylinders, 8 cylinders and not specified. I put checks in both 6 and not specified to pare down my choices a bit.
This shortens my list from 48 matches to 33 matches. From here I will go through and find a couple of Jeeps to watch over the next couple weeks until I make my final decision.
