Barking collars for my dogs
I live near some of the biggest busybodies in the world. These are not your typical concerned neighbors. They're not out to make sure, for example, that someone is not breaking into my house. I had someone break into my house a couple months ago, and no one even saw it. No, what they are concerned about is the noise than my dog makes. They need the whole neighborhood to be perfectly quiet at night so that they can sleep. It is as if no one invented earplugs!
They called so many noise complaints on me, in fact, that I was forced to get barking collars for my dogs. Now I have three dogs, and let me tell you that training them to bark control collars is no picnic. Bark control collars might work well in puppies, but these are old dogs. They don't understand the invisible fence collars at all. They are paralyzed by a painful sonic blast every time they make noise. Imagine what it must feel like! What if they made a bark control collar for humans! Would you like it if every time you tried to speak, suddenly there was a loud beeping in your ear? Of course not, yet people think that this is a humane which treat dogs. Bark control collars really are ridiculous!
I think instead of bark control collars, people should become a little bit more tolerant. It is alright for cars to drive by, honking their horns at three in the morning, but if my dogs so much as whimper, they are calling the police. Now I know that my dogs can be difficult at times. Before I got the bark control collars, they could be barking as late as three or four in the morning. Nonetheless, that is the point.
They were my burglar alarm system. A normal burglar alarm will not do that much to deter would-be assailants, but you can bet three large dogs will! Now with the bark control collars, they are all but useless. They can still defend me, but they are too neurotic to. They
feel like the moment that they get angry at an intruder, the bark control collar will go off. They don't know why they are being punished for speaking, but you can tell that they resent it. Because of my no good, nosy neighbors, my relationship with my dogs has definitely suffered. Bark control collars are one of the worst things that ever happened to me.
