How to Use Baby Shower Gift Wrap

There is nothing more exciting and worth celebration than the birth of a new baby, and so you want to make sure that any baby shower you attend is the most special and enjoyable that it can be. You really want to put some thought and consideration into the baby gift that you bring and remember that presentation is everything.

You can use baby shower gift wrap on basically any present, and you just want to learn a bit about how to wrap your present with the baby shower gift wrap before you go ahead and try doing it on your own and end up with a disastrous result.

Getting Started

First of course you have to actually purchase the baby shower gift wrap, and although clear is the most commonly chosen color there are also a variety of others to choose from as well and you may want to go with blue or pink depending on whether the baby is a boy or girl.

Now you want to remove all the price tags and stickers from your gift, and put the gift in a box. This is one step that many people often skip, but there are many reasons why it is important. For one, if you put the gift in the box then it will be less easy to tell what the gift actually is once it is wrapped. As well the box will work sort of as protection to ensure that the gift does not get ruined before it is opened.

Unroll a bit of the baby shower gift wrap and lay it onto a flat surface. Next you want to place the gift on this section of paper and measure how much paper is going to be needed. Once you have determined this you can cut the paper off at the appropriate marking and just make sure that you have at least a few inches extra so that you will not get to the end of the wrapping process only to find out that you do not have enough paper.

You always want to place the gift upside down on the paper so that the folds of the gift wrap will be at the bottom of the present and therefore not visible once the wrapping is complete. On the horizontal side of the paper take one side and fold it over the bottom of the gift, then take the other side and fold it over as well. Once you have the bottom folded you can finish up on the sides with the baby shower gift wrap and then you are finished.
