The Different Types of Double Strollers

A stroller is very important to new parents; they take the stroller on walks, to the mall, the zoo, the church - basically everywhere they can take their children. The stroller needs to be durable and within a reasonable weight. It should also have other features that they choose. This choice becomes a bit more complicated when you're using the stroller for more than one child.

Some double strollers have stadium seating for two which is ideal for twin infants. For a double stroller, it's not even too bad in the weight department. There are a few differences on the sit and stand stroller. It is great for an infant and a toddler combination.
When you have twins, double strollers are a crucial piece of equipment. Without one, or with the wrong kind of stroller, moving babies from place to place can be very hard. The right kind of strollers makes for happy babies and happy parents. All families have different needs; and some stroller models meet particular needs better than others.
Front and Back Style
Double strollers for two babies come in two basic forms: Front or back where the seats are arranged in a line with one behind the other, this kind of double stroller is ideal for a baby and an older sibling. These types of strollers can be folded to a more compact size, slender enough to fit easily through doorways and store aisles.
Side by Side Style
Other models of double strollers are called "side-by-side"; the children sit next to each other, facing the same direction from the same linear position. These strollers work best for steering purposes with twins or two kids of with equal weight. Side-by-side models maneuver over curbs more easily of the two types of double strollers. Stroller manufacturers are making them narrower so they will fit better through doorways, but side-by-side twin strollers will always be difficult to maneuver through small, crowded aisles. Both types of double strollers have certain advantages and disadvantages which will be up to the parents to decide.

Double strollers that can hang tough, go off road every once in awhile, glide down sidewalks are what parents and children that are on the go need. Many parents assume that since they have children they cannot lead the active lifestyles that they want to. When you have double strollers for your twins you can take back your active lifestyle and making your baby a part of it.
