The food requirements of cats can be addressed by giving your cat the right kind of food. Giving enough water is also another staple to cat health. All living things need water to survive and the cat is not an exception. Many people believe that cats enjoy milk and that it is safe for them. Milk is actually just necessary for kittens and this need to be cat's milk not cow's milk. A serving of milk once in a while may not be detrimental to your cat's health but do not serve this daily.
Home Safety
Once you have a cat, you need to keep in mind the safety of the cat in and out of your home. The state of your cat's health depends on you to maintain it. Provide a cat door if there are no inherent danger outside your home to allow your cat to relieve itself when necessary. If you hesitate to release your cat outside then you need to provide a litter box as well as some toys of it inside the house.

Annual visits to the vet, excluding visits for emergencies or sickness is necessary to maintain good cat health. These visits are necessary to monitor the health of your pet and to monitor any conditions that may arise.
