Anxiety is often just a normal and healthy emotion, but when it begins to affect a person's quality of life and is making the everyday things that they were once able to do more difficult, there is a problem. Treatment

Although treatment varies from one case of anxiety to the next, the first recommendation is usually always relaxation techniques. This includes breathing techniques and relaxation exercises such as yoga and meditation. If your anxiety disorder is especially severe however you may be put on medication immediately in order to help relieve the symptoms and calm your body. This should never be a long-term solution though, and you should be working with a therapist or counselor, in order to find what the cause of your anxiety is and deal with that so that you can get your life back.
