Just like the ones designed to work by being plugged into a vehicle, a solar power air compressor can be useful for many applications. Many of the smaller units are designed to run on 12-volt power, the type available in most vehicles, and can be connected to a solar panel to provide power. While the size and cost of a solar panel array to provide enough power to operate a large compressor, a small solar power air compressor can be used in a variety of applications.
For example, when at the beach and an air mattress needs inflated, a solar power air compressor can blow it up a lot quicker than most people can, and it will not suffer the light headedness associated with this activity.
