The Advent Of Energy Balancer Detox Footbath
Not so long ago around 2004, a holistic method of detoxifying the body system surfaced and became highly popular in the alternative medicine scene. Called by many names, which would include Bio-Cleanse, Bio Detox, Bionic Hydro Therapy, Emerald Detox, ionCleanse, ionSpa, Ionic Detox, Pure-Charge Energetic Spa, Water Detox, but most notably as Aqua Chi Detoxification Foot Spa, proponents had claimed that this holistic method efficiently detoxifies the body -that is removing toxins from the body through the "4,000 odd pores" found in every foot (See article entitled "A detox to make your toes curl"). The aqua chi detoxification foot spa, the proponents further added, has the capability to cure diseases of all kinds, ranging from the simplest cold to the most life threatening cancer. And astonishingly also, it seems that Aqua Chi was also a cumulative healer, since it drains the body of all those "…years of smog, wrong food, and medications" which they say "can lead the body to chemical overload". It's no wonder that such wild claims, plus the amazing visuals of the therapy, converted thousands into its flock. Then came the intervention of science that proved aqua chi detoxification wrong and exposed the whole deception.
Come 2007, there's a new wave of foot spa treatment that's begun to make waves. The ultimate question is: is this foot spa, the Energy Balancer Detox Footbath, the same as 2004's Aqua Chi Detoxification Foot Spa?
It must be, since the Energy Balancer Detox Footbath uses the very same methods, employs the very same tools of the trade like the former foot spa regimen. All the principles remain intact, aside but one. Debunk now is the façade that toxins are seeped out from the foot through the pores during the process. Now the conjecture lies nearer the boundaries of biochemistry. That means, its credibility is better but the notion is less tangible and as far-fetched than ever before.
Let's take for instance the account I've read on Detox Online, one of the leading Internet based provider for Dr Mary Staggs detoxification products. It is an interview held by R. B. Research for Dr. Mary Staggs herself. During the course of the interview, Dr. Staggs was questioned about the healing claims of Aqua Chi. Among her statements can be listed:
* There is no presence of human excreted toxins like albumin, urea, bilirubin transaminates, sugar and so on.
* The quantity of chemicals secreted, if there is any, is so minimal that it cannot be considered as real detoxification.
