Natural Bodybuilding

 

Natural bodybuilding refers to bodybuilding without the assistance of illegal or unnatural substances such as steroids. Some supplements are considered acceptable for natural bodybuilding, in particular protein shakes. However many supplements such as testosterone boosters are considered unnatural as they directly affect the body's hormonal balance.

Natural bodybuilding is a combination of intense physical workout and a healthy, balanced diet. The pr../inciple of natural bodybuilding is that you can get the body you desire solely by training and eating healthy foods. Unnatural, chemical and enhancing supplements are not on the agenda of the natural bodybuilder.

The diet should consist of a large amount of protein rich foods. Depending on body type, carbohydrates plan an important part too. Some body types will require less carbs than others. Vegetables are mandatory for any bodybuilding schedule. Broccoli, cauliflower and green veggies should be ingested every day.

Meals should be spaced out regularly throughout the day. It is not ideal to eat three large meals, but rather eat 6-6 small meals and snacks throughout the day. One of those meals can simply be a small snack like a banana. The idea of this is that your body will not overwork itself to digest large meals, and also you are keeping your body "topped up" with nutrients and energy throughout the day.

Many natural bodybuilders also like to consume a protein shake around 1.5 hours before going to bed. It is vital that people undergoing natural bodybuilding routines get plenty of sleep each night. 7-9 hours is ideal. During sleep your body rests and grows so it’s obviously very important to get that much needed rest each night.

Natural bodybuilding is the healthiest way to go about building your ideal physique. Substances and supplements can be harmful to the body and play havoc with hormonal levels; therefore it is of much benefit if you stick to a natural bodybuilding lifestyle.
