An evening handbag is basically a bag that is more formal than your everyday bag. The term evening denotes a formal affair or dinner where the lady needs to dress up in formal evening attire. Other evening handbag designs are small handbags that can be slung onto one shoulder, small totes that have a single strap to be carried in the hand or up to the elbow and many others. Preference plays a big role in the purchase of an evening handbag. Many women buy a handbag that complements the dress or the shoes they wear for the night.
