Feeling Good in Seeing Stars Without Makeup
Admit it. You're one of the millions of women out there dreaming to look like one of your favorite Hollywood celebrity. And you don't just dream, you figuratively break bones and limbs to get the look of Jessica Simpson, Nicole Kidman, and Angelina Jolie to name a few. You spend money and even become emotionally spent when you can't really get almost the same look you favorite Hollywood star flaunts. Instead of being sad and frustrated, a feeling that can really add years to your actual age, why not drop the digitally enhanced images in the glossy fashion magazines showing the glamorous look of your celebrity idol and shift on spotting photos of stars without makeup.
Some people don't really mean to be mean. But seeing stars without makeup somehow make millions of women and teenagers feel good about themselves. It enlightens them in knowing that their celebrity idols are just like them. They can have bad skin, bad hair, and even a bad attitude towards good grooming.
Websites, magazines, and even television shows featuring stars without makeup during their off-cam moments reveal that all we see in movies and beauty magazines are nothing but façade, which have fooled many women in believing that celebrities are goddesses. If not for their professional stylists or makeup artists, our favorite celebrity would be no eye candy to any of us. They are not the picture perfect star we dream to be but ordinary people like us who have its flaws and imperfections.
So why continue to feel bad about yourself right?
Some artists lambast media outlets showing stars without makeup on videos or photos. They argue that it intrudes their privacy and breaks the inspiring image they pose on their fans. Some of the celebrities caught on without makeup and on its ugliest state are Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan. Unfortunately, people and even their fans are getting fond of their candid moments where they're wearing no makeup.
Stars without makeup, on the other hand, are still humans and have feelings, too. They should not be used as subjects for mockery or joke. One should look at it in a more enlightening manner that if we also work hard we too can afford getting our own stylist and look even more glamorous than the celebrities we idolized.
If seeing stars without makeup made you feel better, then you should somehow focus on aiming for something for essential and that is developing your inner beauty instead.
