There are many times when I have seen a preview for a movie on the television, and then went to see that movie based on what I saw. Though these trailers are often very accurate as to what the movie is about, some of them are misleading. I have been disappointed a few times because what I saw in the movie was nothing like what the movie trailer portrayed to me. You can also find a lot of great information on a movie website that you might not be able to catch when you see a commercial on your television. You may think an actor you like appears in it, but you might not be able to read the fine print on the end of the commercial before it is over. You can find out each person in the movie when you visit the movie website. You may even be able to find interviews of them on the site, or other pieces of neat information that might make the movie more enjoyable when you go. You may even find that you don't want to see it after all because in reality, it nothing like you thought it would be.
You can find an official movie website for almost every single movie that is put out each year. These are promotional tools, and they are geared towards making you want to go see that movie. If you have balked at the prices of movie tickets, you
should make it a point to always go to the movie website to be sure you know what you are going to be spending your hard earned cash on. If you still aren't sure after visiting the site, you can always look around online for reviews. Just remember, however, some of the best movies are called junk by the critics, so keep your own tastes in mind as you read the reviews.
