The fight club dvd

Movies are entertainment at its best. You get to plop down in front of a screen and watch as characters get chased up trees, commit sins, run from death, indulge in fantasies and overcome absurd odds. It's a wonderful form of escapism and offers the audience alternative ideas, beliefs and ways to deal with reality. Cinema has become one of our most popular forms of relaxation. We simply love losing ourselves in surreal worlds, even if it's just for a couple hours. One particular film that offers such vicarious fun is the fight club dvd. If you haven't seen this one by some chance, you don't know what you're missing.

It just may be one of Brad Pitt's greatest roles. The actor takes on the challenge of playing an off-the-wall character with a need for physical release. And by physical release, I mean the kind with fists flying and wounds gushing. The fight club dvd lives up to its name. Some guys get together and establish a way to vent and truly feel alive. Nothing says living like having your face smashed in by a few un-gloved blows. Naturally there is a quirky, soft-spoken fellow, who's the protagonist, introduced to the violent festivities. As he adopts the new way of life, things begin to get out of hand. Toward the end of the film, the protagonist must come to terms with who he really is. A man with two alternate egos. That's the big twister in the fight club dvd. The soft-spoken fellow and the brute are indeed one in the same. Apparently the protagonist developed a second personality to deal with the weaknesses of his original personality. Not a bad plot point. I can't say that I saw it coming the first time I watched the film.

Overall, the fight club dvd is worth your 15 bucks. This is one flick with an original idea

you can enjoy over and over again. The script was clearly well-crafted, and the director did a splendid job of bringing the story to life. Take a break from the cookie-cutter garbage that's pushed by Hollywood so routinely now and check out the fight club dvd. With Brad Pitt and Edward Norton running the show, you can hardly go wrong.
