The Interesting Characteristics of RV Campers

RV campers are very unique and interesting people. But then we are talking about the diehard rv campers and not just the once in a lifetime RV rentals. These travelers are sometimes called cowboys, gypsies or retirees. The term retiree is used because the majority of these campers are retirees because you can't really have a job and bounce from town to town. These people have a relaxed, happy demeanor and relish in enjoying life. They are very friendly and most have never met a stranger.

On the Road

When the RV campers are on the road they are very organized and pack only for camping. Of course their camping consists of a very functional and up to date recreational vehicle to live in while on their adventures. They all have a patio with an awning and a nice outdoor grill and friendly Japanese lantern lights that adorn their rv's at night. They sit back in their comfortable lawn chairs with their martini's and beer and listen to the quiet sounds of nature.

After a while, they turn on their CD's and get happier and join their neighbors and tell old stories or new adventures. A few of these RV campers will decide to caravan to their next destination. If they are not towing a car with them, they usually hook up with another camper who is towing a car and they will join together to do some sightseeing.

Amenities

RV campers have no timetable so if they want to stop for a few extra days, there is no one to stop them. There are plenty of RV parks in our 50 states to accommodate all of the RV campers that stream in daily. These parks contain all of the specific hookups that these vehicles need. The water, sewage and electricity are all included for a nominal fee. A fee which is ridiculously low compared to a hotel for a night. The biggest expense for the RV campers is the gasoline which is needed to drive these luxury campers.

They cook their own meals in a compact kitchen and most have their own washers and dryers. If they do not have their own washing machines, each RV park will have one. It's a gypsy, carefree life and one which is a little more secure for relatives now that there are cell phones. It was hard to keep track of grandma and grandpa before the invention of cell phones. Every once in a while you would get a phone call or post card telling you where they were or had been and what a great time they were having. RV campers are indeed an interesting group of happy go lucky and carefree people and you can be one too!
