Throughout Spain there are many different kinds of art and because of this there are many Spain travel influences. People come from all over to see examples of cubism, modernism, and of course the biggest Spain travel influences of all, Baroque. This period of art has a great effect on why people visit the country. The churches, castles, and paintings from this period have great Spain travel influences on foreigners from Europe as well as the United States. While this is not the only factor in Spain travel influences, it is a most important one.

There are many great artists from Spanish history, but perhaps the most famous of all is Pablo Picasso. While he did spend a significant portion of his life in France, for the most part his art is considered to be Spanish. His modern and cubist takes on many of the classics will forever change what people think of as art. Millions of people each year travel to Spain to see the mural Guernica, perhaps his most famous work.
Another famous Spanish painter is Salvador Dali. His works are considered to be some of the most inspiring and changing paintings ever put to canvas. His surrealist work is considered to be the finest example of this type of painting. In addition, he was a prolific painter and his work can be found widely throughout Spain.
While these two greats account for a lot of people coming to Spain to see fine art, perhaps the biggest draw is Spain's vast collection of examples from the Baroque period. Massive churches and castles with spiraling spires can be found throughout Spain.
From the smallest town to downtown Madrid, countless numbers of examples of ancient architecture from this period can be found. One of the finest examples of architecture from this period is the Grenada Cathedral. The cathedral took 181 years to construct and symbolizes a lot of different things from this time period.
The inside of this grandiose structure houses mural after mural in the baroque theme. Although architecture is important from this time period, paintings were important as well. There are many fine examples of Spanish art from this time period that can be found in museums throughout Spain.
The good thing is that most museums offer art from several different periods so you can see the new with the old and all of the different Spanish arts throughout history.
