Communication is not just one thing but rather successful communication consists of being able to utilize verbal, written, and reading comprehension for it to truly be effective.
This technique is also used in speed-reading to help students increase their speed along with their comprehension. The ability to see an entire page as opposed to one word at a time is a skill developed through years of intense learning and can be considered a very advanced communication skill. But no matter how advanced you are your learning of how to communicate always begins with the basics. An ability to master the basics of all aspects of communication is essential for any student and if the student has aspirations of being able to read and comprehend all material at an advanced rate then they first need to understand the basics as everyone else understands them. To communicate is to convey a sense of power and effective communication is very powerful.
