The definition of aerobic exercise is a program that is fairly fast paced that will cause an increase in the lung and hearts activity, promoting oxygen to circulate through the blood. This definition of aerobic exercise gives a good visual on the process that occurs in the body during aerobic exercise.
This definition of aerobic exercise can explain that aerobic exercise is fast paced and involves the entire body. Some examples of aerobic exercise include things like a step class. This type of class incorporates the use of a step to choreographed moves. By going up and down on the step, the heart rate increases and then oxygen is moved more quickly through the body producing a healthy benefit.

Many find this work-out not only invigorating, but also see the changes in their own bodies quickly. It is important to keep in shape and whether it is done through a planned exercise program or by just walking, exercise is a cornerstone to good health.
