When most people think about olive oil cooking spray, they really do not think too much about it. But actually, there is a lot of think about and consider as olive oil cooking spray has truly changed the way we cook today. Before olive oil cooking spray, you could still cook and you could still bake but it would be messier to deal with and it was not always as healthy. It has been proven time and time again that there are in fact some health benefits in using olive oil cooking spray here and there. Of course, as with everything, this does need to be used in moderation.

Unless you told someone, they would not know that olive oil cooking spray was used and they would be benefiting from its use.

When To Use

Like said before, when used in moderation, olive oil cooking spray is an excellent addition to many recipes. When spraying a pan for any type of baking or when spraying a frying pan for frying your favorite foods, you must remember not to over do it. It does not take a lot of olive oil cooking spray to get the job done. In fact, as generally clearly stated on recipe directions, you are to use a light coat of the spray and that is all that it takes. And even though it does not seem like enough for health benefits, it is as only the smallest amount is needed and your food will soak up the oil for you.

It is never a good idea to use olive oil cooking spray in place of anything else unless the directions specifically say that it is okay to do so. Some foods and some recipes would not turn out the same if an olive oil cooking spray were used. Although you would not specifically taste the olive oil, you may be able to taste that something is off or just not right. So, keep in mind to always follow your recipe's instruction and when used in moderation, olive oil cooking spray is amazingly good for you.
