You have to factor in the ages of the children who come to you for child care. Avoid buying day care toys with too many pieces as it is inevitable with the number of children coming and going that some may get lost. Puzzles are not any fun to make when you can not see the final picture and similarly some toys do not work if they do not have all the required pieces. Also, avoid day care toys which require batteries as they can get worn out pretty easily and it can cost a lot of money and time to always have to replace them.
