Once you have your DSL router in place you don't have to worry about it anymore. Your Internet connection will always be there, there is no need to log on or off your network.
If you do go for the option of DSL routers built into modems then you want to make sure that the DSL modem you have chosen will work with the line that you have. Not all DSL modems work for all lines. Check with your Internet provider what modems will work and which ones won't. This will save you time and money, not to mention the effort of installing a router and then taking it out again.
