Everyone knows that when you check bags for a plane flight, you are running a risk of not seeing that bag again. And for most people, this is a good reason to go into panic mode when it is time to let go of your bag and everything that you have packed inside of it. There are two main reasons a persons bag may never be seen by them again once they left it in the hands of the airport. The main thing everyone thinks about and is portrayed in the movies is that the airport actually lost the luggage. This is of course little that can be done about this other then to hope for the best.
But another reason why luggage comes up missing is that another person from the flight grabbed your bag by mistake and took off to their destination. If there was not any form of personal information on the luggage or if the person was not so nice and ended up liking your stuff better then theirs, you will probably never see that bag again. But there is a good way to make sure that people notice a difference between their black bag and yours and that is to add embroidered luggage tags to your bag. Embroidered luggage tags are an excellent way to make sure that you spot your luggage and other people see that it is not theirs.
The Downfall
Of course right now, there are not so many people who make use of the embroidered luggage tags and that is excellent for those who do. But if too many people began using them, then everybody would have them and it seems that the purpose of it all would be defeated. That though, seems a little far-fetched that it would ever happen because besides embroidered luggage tags, there are all sorts of different kinds of cool and special tags that people can purchase.
Also, there are always going to be the people who claim there is no sense in purchasing embroidered luggage tags, as their luggage has never been lost so they do not see the need for it. Of course, this is all about prevention, not about fixing or changing anything from the past. Adding some embroidered luggage tags or other forms of luggage tags that are different from the normal tags is an excellent way of making sure you will spot what is yours right away.
