The folding luggage cart was more popular before wheels were added to the underside of suitcases. A person could use one to move their bags from their car to the loading area and then strap the folding luggage cart to their bag, where it would be available when they reached their destination. The number of bags being toted and how far they have to be maneuvered will determine the size and type needed.
Some of the carts also have extended bottom rails to allow the use to lay the bags on the side, which can be helpful when transporting several bags.
