Certainly not for use with any décor that is more traditional, these coffee tables are more commonly found in homes that incorporate a post-modern style of decorating. While certainly stylish, contemporary coffee tables are not nearly as sturdy or durable as their wooden counterparts, and shouldn't be used in homes with small children and rambunctious pets.
