Behind the iPhone background lies a powerful multimedia mobile phone, packed with impressive features which are altogether useful and functional.
The iPhone is Apple's latest i-product, bearing with it the i-standard all Apple products have become associated with. It is a 2.75G quad-band GSM mobile phone, with text messaging capabilities, email reading and sending features, as well as internet web browsing capabilities. Among its more sophisticated hardware features is an integrated 2.0 megapixel camera, and Wi-Fi connectivity capabilities.
The iPhone comes in two models, with each model boasting 4 gigabytes and 8 gigabytes of file storage space. Given all these features, the iPhone is basically four gadgets all rolled into one product. It is a mobile phone, an iPod alternative, a portable video file player and a portable internet web browser. Indeed there is more behind the iPhone background.
Its battery boasts up to 250 hours worth of standby time, 8 hours worth of talktime, 7 hours of video file viewing, 6 hours of internet web browsing and 24 hours worth of audio file playing. It practically outperforms other popular smartphone brand models in terms of battery of performance.
The iPhone's native iPhone background is a 320x480 pixel, 160 ppi image, ideally filling up the 3.5 inch wide screen, which is actually the whole user input system of the iPhone, made possible through its touch screen feature. This touch screen feature is one of the iPhone's more impressive features, as the whole touch screen interface is calibrated for the ideal properties of skin density, negating the need for a stylus. It utilizes a virtual keypad as its "main mobile phone" input system.
But though with all the iPhone's features, there are certain downsides to the iPhone.
For starters, even with its 2.0 megapixel camera, and impressive file storage capacity, it can only take still images and not record video clips. This whole video recording inability stands to be an irony within the whole iPhone background.
Another downside would be the iPhone's limited Flash support. As most websites utilize Flash elements into their websites, one's internet browsing experience would be exactly the most fulfilling.
The iPhone's ringtone selection is another irony, as even with its capacity to store hundreds of audio files, one cannot use any of those files as one's own ringtone.
