Reusable Diapers - The Best Organic Baby Products

If you were asked to name only one organic baby product that you adopt into your and your baby's life what would be the answer? There is a long, very long list of eco-friendly products for babies and most people find it very difficult to choose. However, if you must choose it would be the organic disposable nappy over the inorganic one.

The Alternative Organic Baby Product That Can Replace the Disposable Diaper

Statistics say that a child would use about 6000 disposable diapers until they outgrow it which would result in about two tones of non bio-gradable waste. Just imagine how many infants are out there and how many installments of two tones each the Planet Earth would need to adjust to. Since the plastic and other ingredients in this non organic baby product do not decompose, these would clog the earth for generations to come - not a very pleasant thought to entertain.

There are alternatives to using disposable non-bio-degradable nappies and the best is the cloth nappy that your great grandmother would have had made for your grandmother out of 100 per cent organically grown cotton. This is excellent for the baby's soft skin and it is reusable. The downside of this organic baby product is that it need frequent cleaning.

The frequent cleaning of this organic baby product can be cut down to once a day if you make sufficient napkins for your child so it would not have you washing clothes the whole day long. Wiser and more experienced parents calculate how much they would need per day counting about two to three napkins per hour for the total waking hours of the baby; these would then be prepared and ready for use whenever your angel needs a change

Many towns and even small cities get around this problem by launching launderettes especially for cloth nappies. Some parents even consider washing them at home in their own washing machine. However, if you are among those who do not like to give their baby's clothes to a public place for washing, not can they wash it themselves there is a middle path - the disposable bio-gradable napkin. This is slightly costlier than the regular ones, but worth every penny that you spend on it.

It is highly recommended that you make the shift from the inorganic to organic baby products as soon as possible so you would be able to provide your child with the best there is in this world - the care of Mother Nature herself. It is time to join hands with Nature and save this planet and for future generations - we need to unite and work together here - you, me, every one. Let us work together for a better and safer tomorrow.
