Good Card Tricks
Although some of us might like to be able to perform magic tricks such as a good magician is able to, there is simply no hope of us being able to do this, mainly because we don’t have the time to learn every single magic trick out there. A good alternative for you to look into then, is to check out some good card tricks.
These can help you to get in on the magic revolution, while at the same time not having to expend too much energy! Let’s face it, although we might love to learn magic, after a grueling day at work, the very last thing that we want to do is sit down and go through our magic routine.
That’s why learning some good card tricks is so easy, not to mention the little fact that it fulfills our need to perform magic tricks to a willing audience (or even unwilling audience of family and friends!).
However, even easy card tricks need to be practiced otherwise you will be left high and dry without anywhere to land when you forget your next move…in the middle of the trick!
Good card tricks could involve your utilizing the deck of playing cards in a neat trick (like making a card disappear), or even getting the audience involved in trying to outwit you (memorization techniques), or something along those lines.
It should however, be noted that good card tricks don’t always need to include your doing any one of these things. You won’t need to shuffle the cards like a pro or a card shark, you won’t need to use memorization techniques, and you don’t need to make the cards disappear or anything else like that. These are optional.
There are many good card tricks which you can perform which are easy to do, and which are also unique and not necessarily old hat. That said, some of the best card tricks are the old ones, and it’s best not to forget that. They can cause more stares of awe than some of the newer flashier tricks.
Just remember though, that whatever card trick you are doing, good card tricks can always be identified by the amount of effort the magician – you in this case – puts into entertaining his audience.
Even good card tricks will suffer if you just go through them mechanically or even hesitantly. You will need to develop a certain flair which will enhance your card trick and garner the attention of your audience more readily than if you performed a daring feat of magic without flair. It’s all in the presentation, even for the easy card tricks.
