Adsense Arbitrage

Adsense arbitrage is when a webmaster uses Google Adwords or another pay per click program to send traffic to a website in the hope of earning more money from each click on his Adsense ads than he pays for on clicks to his PPC ads.

The monetary difference between what is paid for PPC and what is earned through Adsense is the process of arbitrage. Until recently, it was relatively easy to make money through this method.

However in recent months Google have been heavily cracking down on big time arbitrage people and banning Adsense accounts. Whilst it is still "legal" to use PPC advertising to drive traffic to a website containing Adsense, Google want to see you sending traffic to quality websites which contain value for the user, not just junk sites containing ads.

What is the best way to avoid Google's new arbitrage rules?

1. Create high quality landing pages (the site your PPC traffic goes to) or preferably, a quality mini website.
2. Don't send PPC traffic straight through your affiliate link to the merchant's page without using your own website. Google no longer likes this either.

3. Play by Google's rules by reading their Adwords and Adsense terms of service and fully understanding it.

At the end of the day it comes down to providing quality websites for your visitors. If you can do this then you need not have to worry about Adsense arbitrage.
