Flight Attendant School: Teaching Graceful Air Hospitality
Flight attendants are epitome of remarkable beauty and grace in the air. What makes them look really beautiful and graceful is the fact that they render utmost service and hospitality to passengers on board the plane. Some refers to them as angels of the sky with their charm and gentleness in attending to every needs of the passengers that they would feel at ease and comfortable in their flying experience.
For many young girls who dreamt of flying, becoming a flight attendant is the closest they can get to fulfill their dream of conquering the sky. We see them in decently sexy uniforms warmly greeting us with big charming smiles on their face as we board the plane. They walk the aisle serving food and beverages to passengers after demonstrating safety flying procedures. It looks really simple and easy but becoming flight attendants is no easy feat.
There are two ways to become a flight attendant. It's either you apply directly or indirectly to an airline company or get in a flight attendant school and be discovered right there for employment. Some prefer to enroll in a flight attendant school to further enhance their skills or develop a character fitting for a charming and hospitable crew member of the plane. This way, they would be fully prepared once they apply for the position in the airline company. Having attended a flight attendant school also increases the chances of the applicant to being hired.
In flight attendant schools, students are taught not just how to render graceful hospitality properly but safety or emergency procedures as well. Swimming lessons, for instance, are taught in the school among others. A course on personality development is also part of the curriculum. Here, students are taught on proper grooming or body care and proper projection or service posture that would help them exude the remarkable beauty and grace expected of a flight attendant.
However, getting in a flight attendant school is not easy. There are particular requirements that a would-be student should meet and that is height. International and local airline companies usually require a minimum height of 5'2" tall for female flight attendants and 5'4" for male flight attendants. Flight attendant schools do not accept students below the required height since it would be futile training them.
Airline companies still put their new hires in flight attendant schools, usually operated by the airline company them selves. This is to assure that a hospitable angel would really be serving and flying with their valued passengers.
