Flying: The Art of Soaring the Sky

Everybody dreamt of flying high above the sky. Who never fancied being with angels and dreamt of flying like Peter Pan, Super Man, and all other flying fairy tale characters and action heroes. Almost everyone in their childhood had jumped up and down their beds with a blanket cape on their backs and arms stretched above their heads virtually imagining to be flying. Unfortunately, we are not supernatural beings capable to fulfill these flying fantasies. The nearest one can do to make this dream a reality is to ride an aircraft and soar with the white clouds while enjoying an aerial view of the world below us through the window of the aircraft.

An online encyclopedia defines flying as a movement through the air using aerodynamic generated lift or aerostatic buoyancy or simply the movement beyond the atmosphere of the earth through a spacecraft. With this definition at hand, flying for human beings would only be possible with an aid of an aircraft, which would lift us to the sky. At this point, a child takes his or her flying dream at a more realistic level of first getting into an aircraft.

No wonder kids get amazed seeing an airplane above the sky. They want to be in there and someday fly it themselves. Most of them want to become pilots, air force fighters, or astronauts just to fulfill their flying aspirations. For most girls they aspire to become flight attendants and even pilots and astronauts as well. For the daredevils and adventurous, they want a much closer feel of flying and go sky jumping, where they can temporarily suspend their bodies into the air for a limited period of time. This, however, is very risky.

Fulfilling one's dream is really more than just being able to soar the sky. It is also like soaring high in making a dream to come true. For those who want to become pilots, for instance, would have to dedicate their selves in finishing aviation school to get a license in flying an aircraft. In flying schools, one must hurdle all the academic and actual challenges to be able to prove him or her self worthy of pursuing a flying career. Because like flying heroes, one also handles a big responsibility once he or she is in-charge in operation or flying an aircraft. That is why becoming a pilot or being able to fly in the sky is one challenging feat one must get through.

Flying make you feel to soar not because one gets up there in the sky but because one was able to stand and even fly above all the challenges one has encountered.
