There is a visitor center in the park, which is always providing its guests with up to date information on the park such as news, photographs, and displays to give a little education on the area.

And if you take a small trip to the Kohala coast, you will find yourself surrounded with many different classy hotels and resorts that rank as some of the best in the world. You will also be given the chance to take in some horseback riding and a nice game or two of golf. You certainly do not want to miss your chance to visit Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park, which is just south of Kailua-Kona as this is one of the most cultural attractions that can be found on the big island of hawaii and should not be missed.
