After all, the actual pieces of equipment that you get for your home theater system are going to be what really matters, not how fancy your couch or recliners are.
At the same time you do want to ensure that your guests are relaxed and comfortable, and of course you need to make sure that there is going to be adequate room for the number of guests that you are estimating to have on average. You never want someone to be left without a seat, so if you can fit it, get a few couches and then some separate recliners or chairs to go with them.
End tables are also a good idea so that guests will have a place to set their food and drinks, and footrests may also be a good idea if you want people to be as relaxed and at home as possible. There is really no limit when it comes to a home theater system and the décor of the room, it all depends on you and your personal preference.
