Shoes for Work

Choosing a pair of shoes for work can be a difficult task especially if you are expected to wear a certain type of shoe for the whole day. How do you choose your shoes for work when you need style and comfort, and maybe a long commute to work as well?

You might want to do what a lot of women do and that is to leave a couple of pairs of shoes in work and wear trainers or a walking shoe into work. Many business women in major cities can be seen going to walk in their suits, carrying their briefcase and a pair of trainers.

Your feet are a very important part of your body and when you consider the abuse they have to put up we need to try and pamper them from time to time. Can you start to imagine the stress that your feet have to endure as they hold you upright even if there is extra weight on the person?

Many people try and cram their feet into the latest fashionable shoes which do little to support the foot or the body. If you do wear the latest fashion shoes then consider your feet from time to time and maybe take your feet out of your shoes especially if you are spending anytime sitting at a desk.

But it isn't only your feet that will suffer with some of the fashionable shoes but also your back.

When it comes to choosing your shoes for work, you need to consider what the dress code is of the place you work in. Also whether wearing those shops through the crowded streets each day is practical. If you have to wear shoes that are not comfortable then consider the long term damage you might be causing to your feet and see which ways you can get your feet out of your work shoes even for a short time each day.

If you want to wear your work shoes to work each day then consider an alternative pair should you go outdoors lunchtime or at any other time you leave your work place. It is better to have healthy feet and a pair of shoes which are not totally fashionable than having major problems with your feet. As was said at the beginning, consider wearing a pair of trainers into work and leaving your work shoes in the workplace to change into as soon as you arrive there.
