Shoes how unique do you want to be?
A few years ago there was a pair of shoes for sale in London with a price tag of a million pounds. They made the news and of course people were heading there to look at what was causing such a high price. These shoes were an evening shoe but instead of leather they had used diamonds and rubies.
They ended up being sold to a celebrity, and you could certainly say these were unique; they were a one of a kind type of shoe. But whether you would ever wear them would be an interesting question to ask the person who bought them.
Think about it for a moment, can you imagine wearing these shoes and then the heel catching in a drain and causing the heel to snap. Or worse still, someone mugging you because of the value of the stones you had on your feet. Maybe you are at a special event and your feet hurt and you slip your shoes off for a couple of minutes, and when you go to put them back on they are no longer there.
Shoes really should be practical, and these unique shoes wouldn't be classed as practical at all. They would be worn as a statement to get people to look at you and see that you had a million pounds to spend on a pair of shoes.
There are many ways you can get a unique pair of shoes and the simplest would be to have a pair made for you. If you have any idea what type of shoes you want then you can normally find someone to make them for it. It could be as simple as finding someone who will create the shoes in exactly the same fabric as a dress you are wearing or in the same color. Or you might have always dreamed of having a pair of shoes made by hand for you.
Decide on your budget and then go out and find someone who will create your unique shoes. It won't be that long before you have a pair of shoes that didn't cost you a million pounds or dollars but you know that you have a wonderful pair of shoes which nobody else will have. Enjoy the luxury of having those unique shoes and once you have had one pair made you will be looking to go back and have more unique pairs of shoes made for you.
