Procrastination Hypnosis Should Not Be Put Off
Procrastination Hypnosis Should Not Be Put Off
Changing a behavior is not always easy, especially for those in whom the behavior has been part of their life for several years. Many have been helped in a quest to quit smoking or to lose weight through hypnosis and while the success rate may be higher for some more than others, procrastination hypnosis can be a significant benefit to overcoming this behavior, if you allow the time to participate in a session.
In the early days of television and movies, and even in some stage shows, hypnosis was often used to inject humor into a performance. The hypnotist would seem to make people cluck like a chicken or bark like a dog, but it was all for the benefit of the audience. In reality, hypnosis has little home of making a person perform as act they would not normally be willing to perform if not under hypnosis. However, procrastination hypnosis has been able to help many people stop putting off important tasks or decisions, making their lives more orderly and easier to cope.
Some of the reasons for procrastination, including lack of self confidence or underestimating the amount of time a particular task will take, can often make people late for appointments or in getting a job completed on time. Through procrastination hypnosis they can learn to put aside their feelings and provide more focus to the job at hand.
Professional Hypnotist Shun Parlor Tricks
Before a person seeks out a professional for help they first must accept they have a problem. A professional hypnotist will usually not dangle a watch in the face, telling people they are getting sleepy and won't tell them that when they hear a bell they will meow like a cat. The use of procrastination hypnosis will only work if the person being hypnotized wants to change their behavior.
A person attending a smoking cessation hypnosis session with a full pack of cigarettes in their pocket probably has no real desire to quit. The hypnotists can only plant the seed in their subconscious, but the person's desire to continue the habit will over ride the suggestion, making the session a failure. The same is true with procrastination hypnosis and if the person has no real desire to change their behavior, soon after the session they will revert to putting things off.
While ending procrastinating ways is not a 12-step program there are certain things a person does that if they are honest with their self-evaluation, they will recognize a need for change. Once that need is accepted, procrastination hypnosis may help them through the process and have them stop procrastinating.
