Shanghai railway station continues to serve the city and other areas
China is undeniably a great city and one of the best and cheapest ways to travel would be by train. Shanghai, being its capital and center for business and major operations, has the Shanghai Railway Station that helps its residents and visitors move in, out, and around the area quickly and easily. The Shanghai Railway Station, located in Zhabei on the north side of the city center, was called "The New Railway Station" when it replaced the Shanghai North Railway Station as the main train station of the city, back in the late 20th century.

3. K trains which are the fast runners to Guiyang, Changsha, Guanzhou, Kunming, Wuhan, Yinchuan, Xining, Nanchang, Zhanjiang, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Yichang, Chongqing, Fuyang, Shenyang, Shijiazhuang, Baotou, Qingdao, Tianjin, Taiyuan, Harbin, and Jilin
4. T52 train or T53 after Xuzhou which takes the longest time to reach its destination - Urumqi
There are several other railway stations around the city that one can choose to go. These are the Shanghai South Railway Station, the MeiLong Staion, the Shanghai West Station, and there's an amazing set of over 70 couples of trains coming from the big surrounding areas of Shanghai.
